Reflections on Tech. Life
If you've played with Microsoft dot net in the past and even if you haven't; visit:
Visual Basic Express Edition BetaYou should definately give this a try.
It installs easily. Actually I needed 2 tries thanks to another install I was running at the same time on the first try.
There are some really nice improvements over the Visual Studio .net 2003 version such as:
- Way better visual editing for forms. It was a pleasure before and now it is almost effortless.
- The WebBrowser object is wonderful. I can just imagine rafts of new automated browser applications as a result.
- Also better deployment which I actually haven't tried yet.
- They promise one click deployment and updates.
I'm convinced that the major obstacle to dot net applications has been the complexity and limitations of its deployment capability.
It will be interesting to see how this new version is accepted.

So closely related to the ENV bike is the core
Intelligent Energy supplier.
We really need to break our dependency on fossil fuels or at least use it more efficient.
I'm convinced that one day we will.

You might be wondering if I'm still keeping up with this blog by now.
Well I've been busy with the entrails of the beast called making a living.
Anyway a truly hope inspiring invention has compelled me to make mention of it.
Better than the
Segway formally known as Ginger comes the
env bike.
It looks more like a vehicle.
People who commute will appreciate the form factor as being more road worthy and the multi purposeness of it. It has a detachable hydrogen energy cell power plant that can be used to power a boat or a small house.
This is truly breath taking and hope inspiring technology in the wake of so many energy concerns these days.
